Wow! 25 pounds lost!

I am completing my 2nd round of HCG and have lost 25 pounds. The first round I lost 10 and this round I lost 15 pounds! This second round was a 40 day plan. It was pretty hard and I dont think I'll be doing one of those again!

Right now it looks like I am stabilizing at 162 pounds. Im gonna take 3-4 weeks off and try round 3, maybe with my husband. This round I am doing it with my son and he lost 25 pounds - in 1 round!! He went from 211 to 186. Males lose it faster and easier, so unfair!!

The first week we weighed things etc but after awhile we just ate the required foods in small portions. We cheated here and there. It' awesome that's for sure and I know without me finding HCG and the helpful support and information at hcgdietinfo.com forums I would still be 185 today. I will try maybe 2 more rounds to get closer to the weight I am supposed to be (135#) but if I can get to 150 in the next round, I may just stop there. It is a bit adicting though when you see yourself and how much weight you've lost. :) And feel it too. My clothes are baggy, just haven't been able to go shopping for new sizes yet. My hubby likes it too lol!

It's been awhile!

Well I actually thought that I would be writing more but I guess my life picked up a bit. I didn't realize how long had passed since I posted last! The diet/protocol has been a challenge but it is going pretty well. I have cheated the past 2 weekends with my son's birthday and my nephew's. I haven't lost as much as I hoped I would but it is most likely because of the cheating and no exercise. But I am lazy and I knew I probably wouldn't.

I only have 3-4 shots left to take and will probably be down 10 pounds at the end. 175 is a great number for me and I will be happy if I can get there and maintain that during phase 3. For now I plan on going back to phase 2 when I finish up phase 3. I understand that as long as I stay on the 26 day protocol I will not have an immunity and can skip phase 4 to start again.

But next phase I will know what it is going to be like and will HOPEFULLY be able to stick to it more closely and maybe lose more that 10 pounds! I doubt it but who knows, maybe I'll try walking next round!

So far so good!

The first 2 days were good. I lost 1 pound each day. On the first night I did get small hunger pangs after dinner. I ignored it and went to bed. Got up the next morning feeling fine. I was hungry most of the second morning because the apple I took to work was not tasting very good at all so I forced half of it down. Guess I'll stick to pink lady apples, they are really the only kind I like.

Yesterday I cheated a TINY bit and had two nibbles of fried fish and 1 chocolate covered strawberry. It was mother's day! Anyway I got up this morning to find that I didn't lose at all. I just find it strange that even though I stuck to my diet all day and just had that strawberry and fish that I didn't lose at all, not even half a pound. So I guess that is what it is going to take. Now I see why some say that they cheated for 1 day lost a weeks worth of dieting. Also I know that I am expecting more than the norm probably, wanting to lose one pound every day. This will most likely be the first of many times that I don't lose anything even if I dont slip up.

Day 1 of VLCD (very low calorie diet)

Today was the first day of the very low calorie diet (500 calories) and it went pretty well.  I bought new storage bowls so I can get some food together premade for faster meals and on the go and a new chopper.  Pulled down the George Forman Grill for fast easy cooking.  I took the advice from others on the forum of using foil on the grill for easy cleanup & it worked great.

Also bought a meat grinder to make some ground beef and chicken.  We watched a documentary on organic foods and processing plants.  We're gonna try to slowly move over to organic.  I bought some great organic shampoo, conditioner & soap from Walmart called Giovanni I think.

Anyway, had no hunger issues today at all and energy level is good so far.  I take a 5000mcg B12 pill each morning.  I had strawberries for breakfast, lean sirloin tips and tomato for lunch and shrimp and lettuce with a bit of Waldrons dressing for dinner.  Orange and half of an apple for snacks.  Unfortunately I only got 1/2 of my water in.  Will try harder tomorrow!

My Loading Days

My HCG came in Wednesday! I was a little nervous mixing it up and transfering between vials and syringes but all went well. I went ahead and filled up 11 syringes and put them in a tupperware container in the fridge that way I can just grab one in the mornings and go.

On my first load day and I didn't realize how hard it would be! That morning I ate 4 scrambled eggs, 4 pieces of bacon and a glass of whole milk with protein powder. I tried but couldn't finish the eggs and had to choke down the milk! Then for lunch I had a small frozen pizza with more milk. Ughhh! My kids wanted tacos and burritos since it was Cinco De Mayo day. I LOVE that kind of food but just thinking about it was making my stomach turn! I ended up having 1 taco and 1 burrito, then some peanut butter as a snack later.

I woke up the next morning to find I had gained 1 pound. That was a bit of a bummer since I needed to gain a few on the two load days to prepare for this diet. The second day I ate more scrambled eggs and 2 sausage patties for breakfast at work. Then for lunch I had another small frozen pizza but couldn't eat the last two slices. I snacked on cheese and almonds, then had another protein shake later. For dinner...more pizza! Yuk. I could only handle 2 slices and now think I hate pizza. I have a feeling I won't be feeling that way when the diet is over though!

Then this morning I wake up and find I lost that pound! What the hell? All I can hope for is that the protein will help me out over this week. This is my thrid day of injecting myself and it's easy peasy! I truly can't feel a thing. This HAS to be better than drops? It's my understanding they don't taste great and you have to hold them under your tongue for 10 minutes. I just gotta stick and go which is great with my mornings!
